Aster & Row arranges short stays in substantial private London townhouses. Our residences typically offer four to seven bedrooms across several floors, with formal reception and dining rooms, family kitchens, gardens or terraces and, in selected homes, private gyms, cinema rooms and wellness facilities. Every stay is arranged personally, with housekeeping and household services organised around the guest.
A family or private group travelling together will often need several hotel suites across different floors. A private townhouse keeps the party under one roof, with its own front door, living rooms, dining room and kitchen. Children, household staff and travelling colleagues are accommodated within the same residence, and the day is arranged around the household rather than around a hotel's public spaces.
Our current townhouse collection is concentrated in Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Fulham, St John's Wood and Wimbledon. Residences in Mayfair, Belgravia and Kensington are sourced on request through the owners and private clients we work with, subject to availability for your dates. We recommend the neighbourhood that suits the purpose of the stay — proximity to Harrods and Hyde Park, the King's Road, Lord's, or the All England Club during the Championships.
Townhouses in the collection accommodate from eight to fourteen guests. Bedroom configurations, bathroom counts and sleeping arrangements are published on each residence page so that a family, private office or travel advisor can assess suitability before enquiring. Where a residence includes a private gym, cinema room, sauna, lift or garden, it is stated explicitly — we do not list facilities a home does not have.
Housekeeping, private chefs, chauffeurs, airport collection, wellness appointments, restaurant reservations and bespoke London arrangements can be organised for the duration of the stay. Services are confirmed at the point of booking so the residence operates to the standard expected of exceptional hospitality from the first day.
